Camp Create

Greetings crafty friends...  I got inspired by the challenges over at My Favorite Things Camp Create and made a few cards.  The first two cards are for the background bonanza.  I used a PTI stencil and the top card was stamping with the stencil and the second card was the distress inks through the stencil.  The third card is for inlaid made easy (must give back the smile die to my girlfriend) and the fourth card was for die cutting made easy, what a fun way to revisit some of the basics.  The final card uses the masking.

smile

A couple of cards.... using scraps for the card above for the current CAS(E) this sketch challenge!  And below two more versions of the current MFT Sketch Challenge, I personally like the RV one better... but good to play with other goodies once in awhile.

A look at coloring, got to play with my friend's copic collection...

a little something....

Happy Monday.  I'm playing along with PTI's Create With Us challenge, using Stephanie Gold's card as my inspiration, instead of cooking-- I went for coffee (funny how that happens).

hey there, happy camper

Happy Sunday!  Hey there, happy camper.  So for those of you who don't know I own a campground and I sell my camping themed cards in our camp store and today I had the sweetest chat with a camper who was in awe of the cards and all the amazing details and how they were obviously made with love.  So, always fun to know the cards are going on to a happy new home.  The camping themed card today was inspired by the current CAS(E) this sketch! challenge.  I have to admit that I hadn't used the Sugar Pea Designs dies before and now that I finally figured out all the tiny pieces, I'm way too lazy.  So good lesson to learn, not the right fit for me.  My second card is inspired by the Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge, I used the Sugar Pea coffee cup die, a Verve sentiment and an anchor from a set that I've had hiding in my stash.

birthday coffee card and flamingos

Happy Saturday!  I'm up on the Coffee Lovers Blog today with this birthday coffee card in honor of ms ~amy~.  Little Tangles is also having a birthday theme on their challenge blog this month, so I'm going to add this card to that.  The projects below were inspired by this month's The Heart Desires Blog, I took some photos last night at the campground of this fabulous new Shasta that has fake flamingos, so I went searching through my camper stash to see if I had any... and this Stampin Up set delivered.  I'll hopefully show more camper photos on Instagram later, but here's the back of the trailer.

brave... time for wine

Happy Wednesday!  I meant to share the top card yesterday and the day got away from me... but I get such a sense of satisfaction out of posting my cards (it's seriously one of those to dos that brings me joy)... so it was inspired by the Reverse Confetti sketch.  My second card is for the current My Favorite Things Sketch...  I had stamped this sentiment a while back accidentally in blue.. and it's been sitting in the pile of possible future projects.  I probably would've like it better in black, but oh well...  I used a tiny piece of the Inn Town Campground's logo for the wine label... might do that again.
