belated birthday wishes, WMS party

There's a birthday party over at Waltzingmouse Stamps today and I'm sneaking in a second card for the day so I can play along.   Because I wanted to play along with the CASE Study Challenge this week, I went searching through Christina's blog for inspiration and settled on the card above, while I changed out the Roses in Bloom for Playful Pinwheels and the sentiment, I think it's easy to see my inspiration.  And below... drum roll, the fabulous Mr. Ben shares with his you his WMS hop card, love it!  And how perfect for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Kid Summer Holiday Challenge.

Materials: Waltzingmouse Stamps Playful Pinwheels, The Craft's Meow Retro Foundations, Cosmo Cricket and Authentique patterned paper, PTI kraft card stock, Tim Holtz distress ink mustard seed, Versafine black ink, button, twine, Fiskars corner rounder

Hello Ben! thanks for playing along - you have quite a future, you know? very very fun & cheery and your owl is spot on the trend watch! Erin - your pinwheel is so fun. i love your use of pattern... enough for complexity, but not overwhelming. i always struggle in finding that kind of balance!
